The House

The current occupiers have presented the house as a family home, with antique furniture, paintings, family photographs, fresh flowers and those personal touches that make guests feel truly welcome.

Guests have their own cosy sitting room with television and a wood burning stove for winter evenings. A wide selection of books and magazines to choose from completes the picture, together with a possible visitation from the house spaniel!

Breakfast is a generous English affair and includes fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurts. A traditional three course dinner is available. Wherever possible, locally sourced produce is used, much coming from the Estate. Fully licensed with small, but interesting, selection of wines available. The impressive Hall, now in daily use as a Dining room, has its original sandstone floor, decorative Tudor plaster ceiling and enormous open fireplace.
