Hornby Hall is a Grade II* listed building dating back to the 16th Century and is ideally situated for visiting not only the unspoilt Upper Eden Valley but the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales too. The Roman Wall is easily accessible. Hornby Hall provides an excellent base for keen walkers and cyclists.

We offer warm and comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in a peaceful location on a working farm, yet only 3 miles from Penrith and the M6 and 1 mile off the A66. Dinners are an optional extra.

The house retains many of its original features, together with open fires or wood burning stoves and is furnished in a traditional manner, all of which enhance the feeling of being in a family home. A perfect and ever more popular venue for that special family occasion with personal attention throughout, be it an intimate family wedding luncheon, a Ruby Wedding celebration or a gathering of family members from all parts of the country.
